Your main duties cover:

  • You will be required to travel to all branches once every second month. Cape Town, George, Plett, Port Elizabeth, East London, Mthatha, Bloem and any new branches set up.
  • You will be required to spend more time at newer branches.
  • You will be required to set up new branches and spend time in the proposed locations.
- +- 2 Weeks of travel over 2 month month cycle.

SALES REPS:

  • Supervise and control sales reps that report to you. You are their direct report;
  • Ensure reps are accurately completing reporting requirements;
  • Ensure reps are maintaining and expanding their client database;
  • Ensure reps are generating and following through sales and rentals leads;
  • Ensure reps are following up on quotations sent out and keeping in contact by telephone and in person with existing customers;
  • Set up a weekly review with reps to discuss challenges they may be facing,
  • Ensure excellent aftersales services is given by the reps

MARKETING:

  • Develop a social media marketing strategy and implement and maintain this;
  • Implement and maintain an online presence for the Company;
  • Undertake to gain a strong understanding of PPC advertising, the Company campaigns, and add value to this and crucial marketing channel;
  • Use the Company social media platforms as a form of advertising, assisted by the accounts clerk;
  • Ensure there is always sufficient amounts of marketing materials in stock per branch;

BRANCH CHECKS:

  • Complete at least one branch check every week;
  • Physically visit each branch under your control at least every second month, ensuring smooth operations and ensure reps are doing their job properly;
  • Implement a check list for physical branch checks;

EMPLOYEES:

  • Post recruiting adverts, review CV's, set up and conduct interviews for all open positions under your control. Second round interviews may be set up with CEO.
  • Ensure the reps are utilizing their driver(s) and assistant(s) efficiently and effectively;
  • Reduce overtime of drivers and assistants where possible by making sure reps/drivers load the day before, leave on time, etc.;

BRANCH STOCK:

  • Reps are to liaise with you for stock needs. Ensure branches within your control have sufficient stock to be able to satisfy customers;
  • Plan driver trips to ensure stock is delivered to branches when needed;

PRODUCTION:

  • Plan the units to be produced based on the current units in stock, confirmed orders and historic trends;
  • Ensure the quality of the units coming out of production;

GENERAL:

  • Submit a weekly report;
  • Follow up on bad debts, liaise with attorneys to hand over those that are not paying, follow up with this process;
  • Implement costsaving transport routes to save fuel;
  • Any other tasks assigned to you;

Salary:
R30, R100,000.00 per month
