We have an extremely exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Actions Officer to join our South African Corporate Action Outsourcing team.


A role you will love


The Corporate Action Outsourcing team is responsible for the processing of all corporate action events, dividends, letters of rep and proxies for various stockbrokers within the required timeframes and according to Directive FL of the JSE rules and regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer corporate action activities
  • Reconciliation of Corporate action accounts
  • Maintain client base
  • Manage controls and procedures

What will you bring to the role?

  • The corporate action Officer requires a good understanding of how the market operates under the corporate action banner,
  • The Corporate Action Officer role, may involve undertaking a mentoring role to the rest of the corporate Action team.
  • The Corporate Action Officer role will have a direct impact on the delivery of our agreed service levels with our customers. The quality of service provided will reflect on the effectiveness of the role holder, team and department. The role holder will be required to coordinate and selfmanage an assigned quota of client enquiries, ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard.

  • Knowledge of the Backoffice environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
- +- 2 Years Equity Settlement experience

  • Corporate actions knowledge
  • Broker back office/ custodial Experience
