In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, sourcing, planning, and communicating various corporate events, ensuring that they are processed efficiently and that clients are well-informed and receive their entitlements within specified deadlines and regulatory guidelines.

Technical Skills
  • Consumer Banking
    • Responding to client requirements, queries, and complaints and accurately logging order entries into the company system.
  • Operational Excellence and Automation
    • Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, considering inter-dependencies, trends, and best practices, to enhance processes and systems for the benefit of stakeholders.
  • Strategy and Planning
    • Understanding and applying strategic planning processes to formulate objectives and priorities that align with the long-term goals of the organization.
  • Trading and Transacting
    • Knowledge of Deal or Trade Life Cycles
    • Handling exceptions effectively
    • Industry and international market knowledge


Experience Requirements
  • Proficiency in BANCS or similar Corp Actions processing systems
  • Background in Corporate Actions with sound financial market knowledge
  • Experience in team management or project leadership
  • Familiarity with Dividend withholding tax in Security/Custody
  • Skills in Brokerage or asset management
  • Knowledge of JSE, Bonds, Trade, Money market, etc.
  • Expertise in Transaction Settlement and Custody services
  • Experience in processing Cash Dividends
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in Banking
