Duties & Responsibilities

Audit Coordination:

  • Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate audit engagements and ensure smooth communication throughout the process
  • Coordinate and schedule audit activities, including PBC preparation, reconciliations, fieldwork execution and reporting, in collaboration with the Audit Manager
  • Perform testing of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track the progress of audit projects and report on status to the Audit Manager.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report on their effectiveness.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to audit activities.

Statutory:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS
  • Assist with preparation of provisional tax computations

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to auditing and compliance.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements within the organization

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Completed articles or has at least 13 years experience in an audit environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, timemanagement, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
