Responsibilities:

Process and structure:

  • Establish effective processes for product discovery, prioritisation, and launch.
  • Ensure consistency and accessibility of product plans, roadmaps, metrics, and insights for stakeholders.
  • Optimise the structure and responsibilities of the product management team for efficient collaboration with roles in the product group including product designers, engineering managers.
  • Ensure the capacity of the product management function enables us to achieve our goals.
  • Define and communicate roles and responsibilities of product managers to stakeholders in all areas of the business.
  • Collaborate with functional product leadership to create structures and processes that foster strong relationships between discovery and delivery teams.

Team:

  • Build and maintain a strong team of product managers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support for product managers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a VP of Product or similar leadership role in a productfocused organisation, demonstrating a strong focus on speed and agility.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product management methodologies, best practices, and tools, with a focus on fostering a culture of rapid decisionmaking and execution.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and retain highperforming teams that embrace a bias to action, simplicity, and focus on the critical path.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and encourage a collaborative environment that values decisive decisionmaking and constructive feedback.
