BeBee Professionals is looking for an experienced Event Specialist to join our team in Paarl.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, meetings, and other special events.


The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The candidate should also have a strong understanding of budgeting and financial management, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Managing event logistics, including transportation, catering, and accommodations
  • Coordinating with event staff and volunteers
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
  • Evaluating event success and providing feedback
