Louw Roets is recruiting a Marketing Manager to develop, implement and drive the company's Marketing and Business Development Strategy. The successful applicant will be responsible for raising Brand Awareness, generating and identifying high-quality leads, and driving sales.

Our company specialise in the design and manufacturing of high-end furniture as well as collectible design & functional art. You will be working in a highly creative environment where everything is about the story behind the process.

You role


The Marketing Manager is tasked with expanding market share through identifying and entering new territories as well as expanding existing ones, provide extensive and relevant market research, forecasts, and trends.

The successful applicant will support the maintenance and development of internal tools including CRM and will prepare marketing reports and metrics in order to measure initiatives success.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing Strategy: develop and implement marketing plans and strategies with measurable goals
  • Strategic Partnerships: identify and establish brand associations and longterm partnerships
  • Budgets: monitoring/forecasting of marketing budgets
  • Reporting: prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing all relevant data and metrics; in addition, communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables and provide instructions for use or promotion
  • Digital Marketing: including but not limited to our social media channels, website (SEO), Google Adverts, optimized audience targeting
  • Ensure that our website (Wordpress) and online listings are up to date and fresh;
  • Manage, advise and analyse brand digital marketing plans, focusing on product quality; positive brand perceptions and revenue growth.

Campaign Management:
plan meetings, events, conferences, and exhibitions by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments

  • Research: conduct research to analyse targeted client behaviour, forecasts, and competitive landscapes
  • Qualifying and

Generating Leads:
identifying and converting new leads, build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, stakeholders, and clients through various marketing efforts

  • Promotional Materials: keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the Graphics Department
  • CRM/Database: develop, maintain, and improve a CRM system working with the CRM unit. Tasks include data segmentation, contact and lead management, reporting

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a marketing, advertising, or communication focus
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience with research and reporting using data analytics software
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Have proven experience in managing B2B and B2C campaigns.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
  • CRM database experience
  • Experience with Google Drive, Google Docs, MailChimp, Wordpress, Gmail, Google Business, Canva.
