Duration: 6 Months Contract, (Renewable)

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the agile development process and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, remove obstacles, and promote continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our teams in adopting agile methodologies and delivering high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of high-quality database solutions.
- Guide the team and the organization on how to use Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
- Guide the team on how to get the most of our self-organization.
- Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum frameworks.
- Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and the organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I).
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent agile certification.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies, with experience in implementing Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc).
PACKAGE & REMUNERATION:
- Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable experience, and previous earnings.
