Transformation Office Manager -
The Transformation Management Office (TMO) is a newly formed team whose mandate is to address issues related to integrated planning, business improvement and business critical initiatives of Kamoto Copper Company (KCC).
Under the direct supervision of the
Head of Integrated Operations , the incumbent will be responsible for developing and leading complex change initiatives.
His Responsibilities Will Include, Among Other Things (non-exhaustive)
- Facilitate and drive key strategic initiatives that will improve the company's technical and commercial performance in the short and medium term.
- Assist the Head of Integrated Operations in planning, developing, communicating, executing and maintaining the company's strategic initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of business processes between different departments while facilitating the implementation of best practices within Glencore and GCM.
- Develop and execute transformation strategies aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Work in partnership with the Operational Excellence and Technology teams to identify business improvement opportunities, plan and implement necessary programs to increase efficiencies across the business.
- Supervision of the execution of transformation projects.
- Lead and facilitate change management efforts related to transformation initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder engagements, crossfunctional collaboration and support communications strategies.
- Develop metrics to track the implementation and effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
- Develop change management programs to equip the business to integrate identified business changes (process, system or other)
- Support the cultural changes necessary to support the company's transformation strategy and fulfill change management requests to modify the plant or process(es).
- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements and regulatory changes to proactively adapt operational strategies and practices.
- Use datadriven insights and analytics to make informed decisions and drive business improvement efforts.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions and knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Job requirements.
Qualifications And** Experience.
- Hold a university degree in business management, technology, industrial psychology, industrial engineering. A postgraduate qualification in business management or a similar stream will be a considerable advantage.
- Have between 10 and 15 years of experience or exposure in corporate or business environments
- Have at least 5 years' experience in management/direction of a department of versatile professionals.
- Certifications in change management and project management (PMP or Prince II) are mandatory.

- Financial evaluation
- Management operating systems and value driver trees
- Business process management and reengineering
- Change management methodologies.
- Objectives, key results and balanced dashboards
- Knowledge of supply chain management processes and operations
- Financial management knowledge working knowledge of capital and operational budgeting processes.
