The Senior Total Rewards Specialist is an expert level specialist role playing a critical role in NTT by managing and optimizing compensation, benefits, and recognition programmes.

With a keen understanding of total rewards principles and industry trends, this role is responsible for conducting data analysis, benchmarking, and ensuring the competitiveness of our offerings.

Collaborating with HR teams and senior leaders, the Senior Total Rewards Specialist contributes to the design, communication, and implementation of innovative total rewards strategies that attract, motivate, and retain NTT's talented workforce.


Working at NTT

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for consultation, interpretation, and advice to internal stakeholders such as HR Business Partners on NTT's compensation policies, processes and practices
  • Partners with internal HR team(s) to execute new hire offers and promotions, this may entail consulting on salary pay ranges and salary benchmarking
  • Accountable for the rollout of Total Rewards projects and programmes within a region/country or at a global level
  • Engages with other Total Rewards experts (may be internal or external to NTT) to define, develop and communicate new Total Rewards policies, processes and practices in line with the Total Rewards strategy
  • Engages with other Total Rewards experts (may be internal or external to NTT) to evolve existing Total Rewards policies, processes and practices in line with the Total Rewards strategy
  • Designs and directs the Annual Salary Review (ASR) process within region/country or at a global level
  • Designs and directs the annual Bonus payout process within region/country or at a global level
  • Audits and reviews internal compensation data to proactively resolve pay disparities, misalignment to the compensation philosophy, and internal compression
  • Performs reporting and transaction support for the HRIS to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Accountable for researching, information gathering, benchmarking, and analyzing survey data or other market intelligence to identify trends
  • Gathers data, metrics, and other elements to support annual and quarterly survey submissions to maintain company's access to market trends and time relevant data
  • Assists the HR Management team with various related HR projects, as needed
  • Participates in the development and execution of a broad Total Rewards strategy
  • Provides backup and/or assistance to other members of the Total Rewards team as required
  • Support development of effective policies for total rewards using a strategic approach that aligns with the organisation's goals, values, and competitive landscape

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of compensation, benefits, and performance management principles and their impact on employee engagement and retention.
  • Knowledge of compensation analysis methods, including market benchmarking and salary structure.
  • Strong understanding of performance management processes, goalsetting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and tools, especially as applied to compensation, benefits, and performance metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with team members, HR partners, and employees.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and payroll systems for data management and reporting.
  • Designs compensation analysis, such as comparing market data and making recommendations.
  • Responsible for benefits enrolment, changes, and effectively communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Responsible for performance management processes, such as setting up performance review cycles and updating performance data.
  • Advanced experience in handling sensitive compensation, benefits, and performancerelated information.
  • Advanced experience in identifying and addressing compensation, benefits, and performancerelated inquiries and issues.
  • Dedication to providing responsive and helpful service to employees with questions about total rewards and performance matters.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance preferred
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or a s
