Our client, a supplier of retail products, is looking for a results-driven
Sales Representative (FMCG) with excellent interpersonal skills, actively seeks out and engages with customer prospects.


Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

- 4 year current experience as a Sales Rp Experience in the FMCG Retail Industry (Checkers/Shoprite, Pick & Paey Hyper, PnP Corporate, PnP Family and SPAR Accounts an advantage):

2 - + year current experience in generating and maintaining relationships with sales leads in the FMCG Retail Industry:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to build productive professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and targetdriven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

Own vehicle and driver's licence
:

  • Matric.
  • Other relevant qualifications will have preference

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for your area of responsibility as communicated to you by the Regional Manager.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
  • Managing in store promoters and merchandisers (by motivating and coaching store promoters in regard to sales techniques, product knowledge & brand awareness.)

SALARY DISCLAIMER:

  • Basic R11, Vehicle Allowance R4500 + Cell Phone Allowance R500 + Company Fuel Card + Commission

MUST HAVE:

  • Own Reliable Vehicle / Valid Driver's License / Laptop & Smartphone

Salary:

R11,500.00 per month

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
