Regional Sales Manager (FMCG Foods)_

  • Our client is seeking highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible to plan,_
- implement, manage, oversee, and review all sales activities in designated region of the company, by managing, area_
- managers, sales representatives, merchandisers, and external service providers to carry out their sales activities in_
- that all sales activities of the company in the designated region are managed effectively and efficiently to achieve set sales_
- targets._

Responsibilities:_

  • Achievement of Budget: Define, monitor, and analyze existing customers, their performance, and the development of_
- strategies and plans in the region to ensure the achievement of the monthly sales budgets, leveraging available resources._

  • Field sales management: To ensure the effective recruitment, training, and ongoing management of the field sales team,_
  • Protecting and ensuring effective utilization of company property and resources to achieve the company's objectives._
  • Driving distribution and range: To ensure the achievement of targeted distribution levels, On Shelf Availability, product_
- assortment, by developing and refining the appropriate sales techniques, approaches, and brand support mechanisms, such_
- as promotions, merchandising, display drives, customer and sales force incentives._

  • Sales partner management: To deliver the monthly BFR targets, via the effective management of the appointed_
- merchandising and sales partners._

  • Customer operational management: To ensure the ongoing development and management of key operational contacts to_
- deliver on BFR instore objectives of OSA, promotion execution, ad hoc promotions, and merchandising. Build and maintain_
- strong relationships with customers of the Company._

  • Communication: Develop and maintain clear and effective lines of communication channels with customers, colleagues,_
- staff, and management, ensuring effective reporting is exercised to Head office on your region_

  • Stock Management: Ensure that effective processes are implemented to manage the region's stock in store._
  • Performance management and review: Ensure that correct staff levels and quality of staff are maintained to achieve the_
- regions objectives and actively manage, control, train, motivate and evaluate staff to ensure that company standards and_
- objectives are met._

  • Sales force optimization: Ensure the development, ongoing management, and execution of sales reps call cycles, alignment_
- of NOD, NDD's, call compliance, to deliver optimum sales results to the direct call accounts._

Requirements:_

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus._
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the FMCG Foods industry._
  • Experience working with third party merchandising companies, experience working with PnP, Spar, Checker, and Dischem._
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth._
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, market dynamics, and consumer behavior in the FMCG Foods sector._
