Principle Specialist Fulfilment Automation

Role Purpose:
The role is responsible to realise the ASOC Automation Strategy, with the focus on Fulfilment Automation. The position requires a self-driven, proactive individual with repeated practice enabling back-end and front-end automation to support digital transformation. Whilst building and owning the Fulfilment Automation strategy and architecture. The role is also responsible for ensuring value delivery through the squads within the tribe and others, as required.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Build Automation Frameworks
Process improvement and coaching:
- Evaluate current process and architecture landscape, suggesting improvements, prepare roadmaps and realize benefits
- Continuously align and monitor key business and technical capabilities for ongoing improvement
- Coach and in some case, mentor, team members on new concepts, development principles and software languages to increase flow efficiency
- Provide guidance and drive implementation of OSS standards and leading practices

Technical / Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 8 years' experience at senior technical level leading multifunctional OSS technical teams to deliver strategic objectives
- Proven practical experience in implementing SAFe agile, technology architecture, system integration and technology services
- Experience in delivering large scale OSS transformational projects from strategy to implementation
- Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills to support work in reactive and proactive environments

- Practical domain qualification or experience eTOM, TMForum, TOGAF, ITIL
- Demonstrable working knowledge and competence using JIRA and Confluence
- Other postgraduate Digital business qualifications will be advantageous
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
- Strong understanding of / experience with software development lifecycles in complex, data driven initiatives is essential, especially within Agile framework i.e., SAFe and methodologies i.e. Scrum, Kanban, etc
- Experience in leading Agile feature teams to deliver both new and continuous improvements
- Solid experience in As-Is and To-Be Architecture planning, solution scoping and design in OSS domain
- Passion for envisaging innovative solutions and taking ownership in driving solutions
- Business and customer focus, and an appreciation of customer led design and user experience techniques
- Ability to work proactively within a demanding environment, being a key contributor to a fastmoving product development process
- Able to communicate and influence with tact and diplomacy
- Able to understand and explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Demonstrable numerical, analytical, and verbal skills, welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working within a multinational team and serving customes from multiple countries would be of benefit
