Payroll Supervisor

Duties
- Responsible for the takeon of new employees onto the Payroll Systems
- Responsible for the termination of employees on the payroll and HRIS systems as well as ensuring termination payouts are authorised and correct
- Manage salary and wage annual reviews
- Implement Provident / Pension Fund / Level Annual increases
- Review and reconcile the weekly and monthly payrolls to ensure that employer and employee contributions are balanced
- Responsible for Statutory and Mandatory filing and reporting, including EMP 201, SARS submissions, UIF submissions, MIBFA / MIBCO submissions and Sanlam Provident Fund contributions
- Responsible for statutory deductions such as PAYE, UIF, MIBFA and MIBCO
- Prepare and manage payroll processes of employees.
- Gather all payroll related data.
- Review and calculate timesheets data and hours worked.
- Calculate salaries, wages and overtime wage sheets.
- Create and run salary sheets and reports.
- Manage, maintain and update payroll related data.
- Update salary sheets and schedules.
- Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries.
- Submit payroll reports and sheets on time to the finance or other related department.
- Assist administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or terminated ones.
- 3rd party payments
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma of 4 years / NQF Level
- Up to 5 years' experience.
- Knowledge of NBCRFLI and MIBCO Bargaining Councils preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
- Experience working with Time and Attendance Systems
- Proficient in Office 36
- Indepth understanding of payroll processing, deductions and regulatory submissions
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
