Qualifications/ Requirements/ Skills:

Matric certificate - with Mathematics

5 years' experience in a similar role

Valid licence and own reliable transport

Specific Job Tasks:

Stores / Stocks:

  • Management of Storeman
  • Stock take
  • Balancing of Finished Goods and Non conforming warehouse
  • Stock related reports (Stocks days, Stock values)
  • Investigation of raw material stock take variances
  • Keep Goods in transit report up to date
  • Keep Goods received report up to date
  • Ensure stock related rules (EG offcut rules) are followed at all times
  • Ensure materials are marked clearly for easy identification and that warehouses are kept neat and tidy and in order
  • Assistance with stock budget
  • Issuing and returning of material on SYSPRO
  • Investigating material related NCR's and doing necessary RM allocations as required
  • Compiling stock write off list
  • Creating new stock codes
  • Clearing of Work in progress to Finished Goods (inform accounts)
  • Clearing of NC warehouse
  • Process GRN on SYSPRO
  • Report on PO's placed and outstanding
  • Writing procedures for stock and procurement
  • Assistance to the Finance, Stock and Internal Sales Manager with related issues
