OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

To guarantee that all manufacturing tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Scope of Responsibility:

Main focus on CNC workshop and project milling operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Organizes work schedules for all CNC Lathes, CNC Milling machines, and project specifications.
Supervises setups and tool modifications
Ensures that initial and ongoing inspections are conducted.
Maintains daily production records and submits this data to the Production Manager.
Conducts random inspections throughout the machining process.
Orders tools (maintains inventory) to minimize machine downtime.
Operates under the guidance of the Production Manager
Collaborates with the Toolmaker for jig design and refurbishment.
Ensures compliance with all safety protocols at all times.

Additional Responsibilities:

Initiates orders for consumables.
Prepares components for external machining/plating.
Informs Production Manager regarding inventory levels.
Receives and verifies the quality of components from external machining and plating.
Handles miscellaneous tasks as required.

Safety Protocols
Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
Consistently performs duties in a safe and responsible manner while utilizing provided protective equipment.

AUTHORITY LEVEL
Authorizes clock cards/time sheets
Approves stores requisitions
Has the authority to halt machining if quality standards are not met.
