We are growing our advertising team and looking for a Cape Town-based individual who loves managing social media and dominating paid ad campaigns.

PersonaBlaze seeks to employ a mid-senior social media and paid ad manager with a strong understanding of social media best practices and the ability to develop social media and paid ad ideas in line with our client's marketing objectives.

The position's primary focus will be to create content, manage social media accounts daily, focus on business growth and audience development, manage paid ads campaigns on Google Ads and Meta, and address additional digital marketing needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Inherent minimum requirements (skills and knowledge):
Minimum five years experience in digital marketing working with social media and paid ad accounts
Qualification in marketing, advertising, or communications (Marketing Degree)
Must have exceptional knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
Excellent knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Supermetrics, Conversion Tracking, Pixel Implementation, Facebook (Meta) Ad Manager, Google Ads, MailChimp and Google Analytics is an essential requirement
Excellent knowledge and experience in additional Google Products (compulsory)
Google Ads (Search and Display), Meta Blueprint and Google Analytics Certification
Knowledge and experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and content marketing
Knowledge and experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce (beneficial) - HubSpot knowledge is a huge bonus
Additional Social Media Certification will be advantageous
Middle-weight graphic design experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva
Creative with an eye for detail
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
Strong entrepreneurial characteristics

Key duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
Consistently delivering work on time, without sacrificing attention to detail. Establishment of lead times and plan effective dates to meet multiple digital marketing deadlines
Managing team members to ensure all are working towards one goal
Document and maintain winning processes, and train future staff in their use
Adhere to brand identity and guidelines
Planning, developing, and implementing content & paid ad strategies for social media based on our client's brand and company-wide goals
Creating and managing organic and paid digital content calendars aligned to social media strategies
Managing social media scheduling and community management across all social platforms
Executes advertising campaigns for our clients, monitors performance and ability to improve performance. Proficient in Facebook Business Manager, Google Search & Google Analytics
Managing daily execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns across multiple channels to build brand awareness and drive sales
Ensure all social media and paid ad campaign execution falls in line with the larger digital marketing strategy
Research, build, and revise audience targeting across paid media
Create Google Tags and Facebook Pixels and manage events and conversions
Write ad copy and brief external teams with creative and tagging/tracking requirements
Performance tracking and reporting. Taking the lead on analysis, monitoring and reporting of all campaigns. Analytically thinking is crucial
Monthly and quarterly insights meetings with clients
Managing once-off and monthly campaign budgets, and the optimisation of return on ad spend
Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Innovate new advertising strategies and techniques that push ad platforms to their absolute limits
Administrative or other marketing support to assist with the efficient running of the department, as and when required
