As the Hotel Manager at Camps Bay, you'll be the guiding force behind our commitment to excellence.

Your strong leadership skills and passion for hospitality will be instrumental in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and that our hotel operations run smoothly.

You'll create a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere, where attention to detail is a priority and no request is too small or too large.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations of the hotel, ensuring that the highest standards of service are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage and develop a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and satisfaction.
  • Create and implement strategies to optimize hotel performance, including revenue management, cost control, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with guests and stakeholders, including travel agents, corporate clients, and local community organizations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in hotel operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of success in hotel operations, including revenue management and guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems and software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.
