Purpose of the Job
To develop & grow the Reseller Business in a manner that ensures sustainable profitability and meet agreed expectations of all stakeholders and executing &, managing projects; key customer and the Sales team for area of responsibility to ensure effective management of regional resources & HSE compliance to achieve business targets through direct customer interfaces and to deliver sustainable business growth and to maximize Engen's profitability

- You have excellent interpersonal skills and you have built lasting relationships.
- You are a result driven individual with proven track record in sales not just for your own territory, but also for the rest of the Reseller team, Commercial and the bigger Engen.
- You are comfortable working with numbers (Volumes, Margins, Pricing, Market Shares,)
- You have developed and implemented New Business Development strategies/plans for the Coastal Wholesale team. You are passionate about adding value to Engen at an integrated level.
- You have excellent BI skills. (Ability to extract volumes, costs, margins from the ERPM SAP system and present it in a simplistic way)
- You have a reputation for working under pressure and taking ownership of growth initiatives.
- You are an excellent manager of staff reporting to you. You are an excellent mentor and leader.
What you'll be doing:
CUSTOMER AND STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Foster and sustain effective relationship and rapport with Key accounts and stakeholders (internal & external) by managing and leading the sales team for the region to ensure effective business operations and deliverables
DEMAND FORECAST AND SUPPLY MANAGEMENT:
- Review sales team's forecast and analysis of customer performance vs plan by compiling the monthly customer demand forecast & review sales vs forecast by implementing supply management measures to ensure effective and fair supply and accurate demand and supply planning
NEW BUSINESS FOCUS & PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT:
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities by actively engaging customer base for Engen cross selling opportunities and implement marketing strategies in order to identify and develop new business and maximise profit
MENTOR AND COACH SALES STAFF:
- Ongoing Coaching and Mentoring of the sales team by means of formal and informal coaching and mentoring sessions to improve sales confidence and abilityExciting Challenges you might face in the role:
- Immerse yourself in various aspects of the organisation.
- Operate effectively in an everchanging, dynamic, and agile business.
- Managing complex and unpredictable supply and demand situations and work closely with the Supply and Enterprise Optimisation Teams to mitigate potential rissk to the business.
- You will be required to develop and implement New Business Development strategies that are backed by hard targets.
- You will have an opportunity to build strong networks with the Coastal Wholesale business and work closely with other business streams to optimise sales within entire Engen Petroleum group

- NQF level 7 (Degree in Commerce or Business or related)
- 8 years Sales and Marketing Experience
- Computer Literacy (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Driver's License
- Knowledge of Commercial & Reseller fuels markets
- Staff management experience
- Reseller Sales experience
