Purpose of Role
The BDM can work directly for MSX or as a representative for one of their clients.

The BDM is responsible for developing business and services and creating ROI for either MSX or the client, putting in place all necessary actions that achieve assigned objectives within the geographic area of responsibility.

Increases revenue and develops incremental business areas and drives sales, winning market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on enhancing current client partnerships and increasing overall sales revenue and profitability.

The BDM may coach and mentor more junior members of the team (either Client or MSX).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Presenting: Creates and conducts presentations to diverse audiences, which are effective, engaging and impactful. Proficient use of presentation software and tools.
  • Business Development: Identifies opportunities to build solutions to support operational/sales activity
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborates closely with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders.
  • Planning: Plans effectively, considering timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies and implements process improvements for increased efficiency and customer/user satisfaction.
  • Independent: Completes tasks with little guidance or supervision. Can selfmotivate and work autonomously.
  • CRM Software: Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Marketing Strategies: Ability to execute and optimise marketing strategies to reach potential customers/clients.
Qualification and Experience

  • Track record of successful B2B sales/business development target achievement.
  • Experience analysing data from variable sources, to inform improvements/make recommendations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing improvements for profitability.
  • Project coordination experience
  • Coaching experience
  • Understanding of Change management. Understanding of Customer Retention / Satisfaction principles and Marketing concepts.
  • JLR and Nissan experience required

Pay:
R35 000,00 - R45 000,00 per month
