About the role:
The main purpose of a Sales and General Administrator's role is to support the sales team and facilitate the sales process to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction as well as customer account management.
This involves a variety of tasks aimed at streamlining administrative processes, managing sales documentation, and providing assistance to both the sales team and customers.
What you will do:

Managing sales orders:Processing orders, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating with various departments to fulfil customer requests. (All new customer orders, current customer orders and service orders)

Collaborating with the sales team: Supporting the sales team with customer-related tasks, such as preparing quotes, obtaining customer information, documentation and assisting with after sales communication.

Sales data management: Maintaining company supporting systems, databases and customer information.
-
Providing customer support: Addressing queries, resolving issues, and assisting customers with product information, billing, quotes, invoices and order status updates.

Handling documentation:Managing contracts, quotes, invoices, and other sales-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, company policies and procedures.

Onboarding new customers: Guiding new customers through the onboarding process, including account setup, providing welcome materials, and ensuring a smooth transition to using the product or service.

Handling cancellations: Processing cancellation requests from customers, understanding the reasons for cancellation, and providing assistance or solutions to retain customers whenever possible.

Investigating and resolving billing issues: Addressing billing discrepancies, investigating payment disputes, and working with the finance department to resolve issues promptly and accurately.

General account management: Managing customer accounts, maintaining up-to-date customer records, and proactively communicating with customers to address their needs, provide support, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Must have for the role:
- Grade 1
- A customercentric approach is vital for providing excellent service and support to customers.
- Must be empathetic, responsive, and committed to meeting customer needs and expectations.
- The ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and propose solutions is important for resolving customer inquiries, billing discrepancies, and other challenges that may arise in the sales process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively communicating with customers, sales team members, and other departments
- Must be tech savvy and proficient in MS office and GSuites
- Can do attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong organisational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team
