Department
You will be part of the Sub-Saharan Africa Middle East and South Asia Region within the Professional Services team, who are dedicated to executing the Professional Services mandate for our customers.

Role Purpose
Manages, organizes, and develops the Service Contract function within Professional Services, with a high level of technical & commercial complexity and with a broad scope, leading to the achievement of short/medium and long term business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leadership- Lives & promotes the TEACH values.- Provides leadership and structure to drive the continuous business objective of securing and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Operate and Maintain (O&M) contracts.- Manage and coordinate effort across multiple teams in various locations to enable technically & commercially sounds agreements.- Mandated to lead & negotiate professional services agreements with clients. Develops the capability of leaders within the PS team.
Operational- Develop, set-up and initial execution of new agreements.- Reports on risk, profitability and future pipeline service opportunities.- Manages, plans and prioritizes resources across multiple areas of responsibility to meet functional business objectives- Defines monitors and follows up on cross-functional activities to ensure targets are met.- Fosters global interaction within FLSmidth and Customer base.- Overall responsible for the assets allocated to this department.
Financial / Business Targets- Prepares departmental/functional/regional plans on a tactical/operational level to ensure objectives are set and tasks prioritized- Sets department/functional budget and ensures that agreed targets are met and that all activities are carried out within set budgets- Monitors the health of O&M contracts allocated to the PS function by means of audit & regular interaction.- Reports on the performance of the function on a regular basis.- Lives and promotes the HSE values.- Carries a 16.2 appointment if and when needed.- Ensures adherence to FLSmidth's safety policy and follows up on compliance within own area of responsibility.- Collaborates with the HSE department to ensure compliance and a culture of pro-active safety is fostered and promoted.
What you bring
Requirements, skills and experience- Tertiary qualification, equivalent or extensive field service management experience and commercial contracting experience.- Leadership qualification i.e.
MDP or equivalent- At least 10 years management experience.- At least 5 years in a Field Service Management function.- Financial Acumen- Proven - contracting experience.
FIDIC, NEC and bespoke contracts.- Negotiation skills- Strong technical skills and knowledge of FLS core products is essential.- General Business understanding- Excellent communication skills in English.
