Looking for a full time administrative support person for a financial adviser/Planner.

The primary duties are to support the Financial Planner with daily administration and interact with Insurance Companies, Investment platforms and clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing of New Business and existing business (Investments, Risk Business, Medical Aid, Trusts, Estates)
  • Monitoring all activities relating to client reviews, requests and new business
  • Client Liaison
  • Managing Broker's Diary
  • Processing of Adviser/Planner and Client Requests
  • Assistance with Administration of Deceased Estates
  • Scanning and Filing electronically
  • Plan and schedule work

Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Industry related qualification (E.g., Certificate in Financial Planning)
  • RE Exams (Advantageous)
  • Self-Management (Able to work independently)
  • Results Driven
  • Attention to Detail
  • Computer Literate
  • Problem Solving
  • Client and Service centered
  • Patience with elderly people
  • Punctual, Professional communication skills (Written, Verbal)

  • General Financial Services/Insurance/Investment Industry knowledge
  • Platforms systems and software of investment Platforms and insurance companies, (e.g., Allan gray, Glacier, Ninety-One, Old Mutual, Discovery, Momentum, Sanlam)
  • Legislation Compliance awareness (FICA / FAIS / FATCA / POPIA / TCF etc.)
