The position for a Procurement Coordinator requires a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Matric
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
- Experience in monitoring truck turn around times and collaborating with suppliers
- Handling pro forma invoices and goods received vouchers
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
- Experience with the Great Plains system
- Essential computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
Key duties for this role include:
- Compiling and communicating pro forma invoices
- Processing goods received vouchers using the company's accounting program
- Entering information into the agricultural data system
- Updating agricultural audit requirements
- Addressing any outstanding issues from suppliers
- Monitoring and ensuring supplier compliance
- Handling marketing responsibilities and liaising with relevant parties
- Managing filing systems for both primary and secondary suppliers
- Keeping supplier specifications documents up to date
- Assisting with truck bookings
- Conducting reporting functions
- Some financial duties may be involved
