Job Advert Summary:
To lead the design, development and delivery of relevant and appropriate curricula suited to a Financial Advisory and Specialist Financial Planning environment.
The individual will further be required to actively engage in providing financial planning services to members of PPS with the aim of maintaining relevancy of skills and knowledge.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualification:
- Relevant Bachelors' degree (industry related).
- Post graduate diploma in Financial Planning (CFP).
- Successful completion of RE1 and RE5 Regulatory Examinations.
- Certificate in Program Development Advantageous.
- Qualified Assessor and Moderator
Experience:
- 5 or more years' experience in a Financial Planning Training and Development role.
- 35 years' experience as a Financial Planner or Advisor.
- 510 years Industry.
Computer Literacy:
- Computer literacy: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Visio.
- Experience in Financial Planning software preferable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify innovative and relevant learning related solutions for effective training delivery.
- Development of learning materials and assessments for all of ASE and ASE leadership.
- Implementation of various training programs and solutions.
- Translate organisational strategy into appropriate Learning and Development strategies and plans initiatives.
- In partnership with relevant stakeholders, identify performance gaps, determine learning and development needs.
- Leads the design and creation of ASE learning solutions, including highquality Learning content.
- Actively integrate learning strategies to create and sustain the learning delivery and employee experience.
- Establishes best practices in content development, materials, learner engagement and presenting.
- Act as a thought leader in defining the roadmap and priorities for the ASE Training Department.
- Design and implement Advisor, support and enablement training and development programmes and Induction for all in ASE.
- In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, drive seamless integration of new learnings in the business to maximize the learning and development in ASE.
- Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Advisor capabilities and processes are continuously enhanced and improved.
- Research industry leading trends and best practice to enhance Leaning.
- Keep abreast of the external environment and remain current and relevant by means of client acquisitions aligned with business objectives.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation/s that are pertinent to ASE to ensure compliance to FSCA and legal requirements.
- Ensure training content is in line with relevant legislation/s and regulations that govern our environment.
- Explain complex information relating to Financial Planning in a clear and simple way.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of training.
- Schedule regular training courses and events.
- Research key industry trends and compile learning aids for staff.
- Conduct research and analysis in all areas of financial planning.
- Provide staff with the necessary support required to enhance knowledge and competencies.
- Provide administrative and systems related training and support.
- Adhere to compliance, operational procedures and practice management standards.
- Stay abreast with product information, performance and industry changes.
- Develop a deeper understanding of the complexities of Financial Planning, as well as an increased knowledge of products used for implementation.
