Job Title: Export Sales Manager

Company: Growing Global Export Company

Job Summary:

  • Manage all area-specific export accounts and drive profits through effective selling and marketing of the product range to Africa and international markets.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Quoting and managing area-specific export accounts.
  • Handling all customer quotations in designated markets.
  • Reconciling area account debtors.
  • Providing backup/support to the Export Controller and Export Traders as needed.
  • Booking orders into SYSPRO & following Export Procedures.
  • Applying for credit cover.
  • Conducting marketing and sales activities for the full product range.

Reporting Responsibilities to Export Management:

  • Conducting country and customer visits, and submitting trip reports.
  • Preparing risk and cost analysis reports.
  • Creating market-specific SWOT analysis reports.
  • Compiling expense reports and monthly sales reports.
  • Assisting in sales budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Handling account, territory, and category planning.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of export procedures and documentation.
  • Familiarity with country-specific requirements such as inspection and fumigation.
  • Proficiency in Export Documentation Software and SYSPRO.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge and sales techniques.

Abilities Required:

  • Expertise in export department procedures from inquiry to payment completion.
  • Knowledge of export payment procedures like TT and Letter of Credit.
  • Understanding of company policies and customer-specific requirements.
  • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with customers and stakeholders.
