(Satisfaction rating of => 90%): - Manage new leads/transactions coming in and hand over business to attorneys
(100% of leads serviced within 24 hours):
Correspondent conveyancing
- Maintain excellent client relationships and manage critical players in any conveyancing transactions
(Grow correspondent client base by 20%)
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO:
Assist the attorneys by providing clerical and administrative support services to the firm.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- At least 12 years of experience as a paralegal in a legal environment focusing on conveyancing and deceased estates
- Computer literate (Office 365 and Legal practice management system experience)
- Ability to commute to work without hassle and willing to work Mon-Friday: 8:30am 16:30pm
- Paralegal course would be an advantage
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Manage electronic files
Correspondent conveyancingin the mornings
- Getting deeds to and from the deed's office
- Take notes and liaise with attorneys
- Open new transactions and files
- Do the trust account receipts (bookkeeping tech stack)
- Log queries to the bank
- Deliveries of title deeds
- Do the administrative process of deceased estates
- Acknowledge receipt of documents
- Office management ordering and monitoring stationery, tiding of the office space (occasionally), etc
- Returning calls and taking instructions (especially enquiry calls)
- General enquiries from the website taking instructions of what is needed referring to attorneys or quoting managing first contact with the firm
- Process design, create a process or improve processes
- Managing the firms accounts (City of Cape Town, phone bills, etc) and checking with bookkeepers if everything is up to date

From R12,000.00 per month
