A Pan-African Telco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, execution and development of Service Delivery projects.

You will ensure successful delivery of key initiatives including the overall coordination, implementation, execution, reporting and completion of several underlying and interconnected projects.


Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:

  • A degree or national diploma in management / project management / IT / Telecoms or a related field.
  • A Project Management qualification such as PMP/Prince/Agile certification with suitable experience in implementing.
years of demonstrated success in project management capacity within a Telecoms technical setting.

  • At least 3 years' telecoms / ICT industry experience (non negotiable) with prior experience owning projects through the full life cycle of the project.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and budgeting skills.
  • Solid track record and experience related to Vendor management, Resource scheduling and management (Matrix environment), Stakeholder analysis & management as well as Risk & issue management

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring and controlling Project activities to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives within budget, scope, time and quality according to plan.
  • Defining and executing project scope
  • Utilizing a project management tool for planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, controlling and reporting on project status, progress and financial metrics (costs and expenses incurred to date.
  • Optimizing the effective utilization of project resources throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conducting risk assessments and device contingency planning
  • Managing project financials (forecast vs. actual)
  • Managing project stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring clients are kept up to date of their service delivery process
  • Continuously service managing the customer, through accurate reports, effective communication and buildingsolid relationships
