About the National Sales Manager - Weco Brand position:

We are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to contribute to our company's sales objectives for the Weco Brand.

This Sales Manager role_ _will be the sales custodian of Rubicon's Exclusive Premium Brand - WECO.

The role will_ _interact with multiple parts of the business insofar as they relate to WECO, ensuring that the brand is commercially elevated and emphasised within Rubicon, with the goal of high levels of awareness and, ultimately, sales volumes and market share.

The position also serves as the co-ordinator and expert for sales, online and marketing teams as they upskill, answer questions and clarify requirements in relation to the Weco brand - they will be the brand's sales specialist.


The Sales Manage_r _works closely with all the Rubicon regional teams to drive daily WECO sales across our active markets and to commercially support projects / rollouts, ensuring that they run smoothly from sales lead to project execution and after sales support, ensuring excellence in the customer experience.


National Sales Manager responsibilities are to:

  • Be the overall sales custodian of the WECO product offering.
  • Champion the WECO brand within the business and in the marketplace
  • Work closely with regional sales teams in ensuring product knowledge and sales capabilities are at the required level and providing expert technical and commercial advice
  • Actively develop new markets for WECO products in untapped regions / territories / channels
  • Contribute towards developing cohesive marketing plans for WECO that align with commercial goals specifically, provide sales insights and ensure plans are customercentric and salesfriendly
  • Foster collaboration with the marketing team to ensure alignment on priorities in relation to the WECO brand. Working closely to develop WECO sales enablement materials e.g. newsletter, ecom, collateral, promotions, incentives
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams, facilitating information sharing and coordinating joint activities in relation to the WECO brand

Key Success measures:

  • Achieve set sales targets
  • Operate effectively within in a high performing, collaborative, productive team environment
  • Provide accurate and relevant market information to support decision making
  • Positive feedback from peers within the product, sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and supply chain teams, and the wider business stakeholders
  • Imporoved Customer uptake and satisfaction
  • Maintain focus primarily on the WECO brand while gaining key learnings and inputs in other areas and categories from time to time.

Role requirements are:

  • Minimum Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in a relevant field
- +5yrs experience in Renewable Energy Brand & Product Management

  • Role is based in Johannesburg requiring the ablity to travel as needed
  • High performance sales management
  • Familiar with CRM software and MS Office
  • Able to analyze sales performance
  • Good customer relationship skills
  • Strong communication skills ( verbal and written)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
