We are urgently looking for a self-motivated, target-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills and _their own vehicle _- to take on the key role of
EXTERNAL Sales Rep - to market the companies engineering, technical hardware, and all types of tools and services - to the manufacturing, wholesale and retail outlets.


Summary of Role Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing clients, and source new clients by contacting key personnel & making appointments.
  • At certain customers, arrange stock and make sure that it is correctly presented for sale
  • Negotiate new orders, arrange payment and delivery or collection, and distribute catalogues or other advertisements.
  • Develop and update knowledge of both the company and competitors' products
  • Work with other sales and marketing personnel to establish the best methods of promoting products
  • Meet sales targets and budgets
  • Quote & negotiate prices and credit terms
  • Prepare contracts and record orders
  • Solve clients needs, negotiate new and replacement orders
  • Attend promotional markets and organise product displays
  • Carry out formal presentations of products using media and other training aids
  • Be involved with tele marketing

Minimum Requirements for the role:

  • Previous Successful experience in Engineering/Fastener/hardware Sales.
  • Ability to analyse market and client base
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have own reliable vehicle
  • Must be a selfmotivated team player who is able to work without direct supervision
  • Must b3e able to clearly present product and service information
  • Must be wellpresented, with a pleasant disposition and excellent communications skills
  • Read and understand, mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Working understanding of network communications technology
  • Internet, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills.
