Laser Division: Sales Co-ordinator

We are looking for an efficient, helpful and highly organised individual to co-ordinate both internal and external sales within the Laser Division in Paarl.


  • Minimum 3 years work experience, doing quotes and dealing with orders
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans
  • Technical skills and an interest in understanding technical drawings would be an advantage
  • Must be able to function well under pressure & deal with high volumes of work in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working directly with customers and dealing with customers in a professional manner
  • Very thorough, highly organized, excellent time management skills with a good memory
  • Must pay attention to detail, be adaptable and a fast learner
  • Excellent administrative skills and strong computer skills
  • Strong Excel skills is essential
  • Compiling quotations & placing orders for internal work
  • Receiving parts required for laser cutting in Excel and entering these on Sigma (Importing parts to SigmaNest)
  • Checking for faults on parts and sending through for corrections
  • Processing orders into the system and sending costs to relevant person
  • Manage breakdowns and urgent work
  • Investigating faults and scrapping items on the system
  • External sales
  • Master quoting and processing data in Sigmanest, Draughtsite and Solidworks as well as any new software introduced.
  • Processing quotations into works orders in a timely manner
  • Check on progress of orders, follow up and liaise with customers. With emphasis on ensuring express (urgent) orders are completed by the required deadlines
  • Investigating faults and scrapping items on the system
