Cyber Security and ICT Asset Administrator

Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Provide enduser support for securityrelated issues and educate employees on information security policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including ICT, Operation, HR, Legal, Finance and Marketing, to ensure security measures align with business objectives.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies and recommend appropriate security controls and strategies.
  • Manage regular internal and external audit projects, as well as oversee the annual Internal and External GITC and other audits and ontime collection of evidence.
  • Planning of asset refresh cycles, as per company policy and keeping the ICT Asset register up to date on our ERP system.
  • Manage ICT Asset verification monthly.
  • Manage, attend, and resolve calls logged to the Cyber Security and Asset Management Team, within the agreed SLAs.
  • Manage and build relationship with all Cyber Security and Asset Management 3rd Parties and vendors.
  • Work closely with the other ICT teams to remediate and resolve all open calls.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of security projects to enhance the overall security posture of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in highpressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance to endusers on security best practices and policies.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations on new security technologies and products.
  • Manage & maintain security and privacy training campaigns.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Cyber Security Operational Administrator role, with ICT Asset management experience or similar position.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in highpressure situations.
