My client is a leading communications and advertising agency. They work on incredible brands. They offer top-notch services including Public Relations / Communications, Advertising, Brand and Content, Digital, and Health & Wellness.

DUTIES:

  • Successfully define and execute the agency's net new business plan, in line with the Group's ambition and in collaboration with the agency's GotoMarket global community.
  • Partner with the agency's Executive Team in the development and execution of the New Business and Growth Strategy in alignment with the Groupwide Business Strategy, as well as the achievement of the annual budget and business plan
  • Facilitate, orchestrate, and manage the agency's Group's pitch processes (including from RFI, RFP, and pitching) seamlessly through effective planning, project management, communication, and collaboration with relevant specialists and business and functional leads, under the direction of the Pitch Lead
  • Bring the best of the agency and partners to all pitches by facilitating effective pitch casting of the right talent, making the right investment in the pitch, and leveraging other enablement functions such as marketing and finance to ensure the agency is competitive in a pitch process, under the leadership and direction of the Pitch Lead
  • Identify External Partners to help build and deliver relationships and initiatives to aid the new business and growth objectives
  • Drive the agency's growth by ensuring a healthy new business pipeline through proactively creating netnew business growth opportunities partnerships with pitching agencies, and building relationships with prospective clients to explore opportunities for partnership and solving client's marketing and communication problems
  • Develop common standards, practices, and tools for bestinclass lead generation
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders throughout the group and global business to ensure that all new business assets remain updated, pitchfit and competitive
  • Hold regular meetings with relevant account leads to review the pipeline and facilitate the sharing of pitch share best practices to improve the overall pitch fitness across all SA operating companies
  • Ensure all (local and global) reporting related to new business is updated and accurate and that new business updates at effectively delivered at relevant forums and online platforms
  • Cultivating an atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion within the team and agency
  • Be an agency/company ambassador, promote the creative culture, and champion fresh ideas
  • Develop and update the Group's and Businesses' credentials

YOUR TRACK RECORD SHOWS

  • More than 15 years' successful marketing industry experience in marketing on multiple brands via multiple digital and traditional mediums
  • Experience working with senior executives
  • Experience working in the creative part of the marketing and communication industry or the interest to do so
  • Successful management of a large brand (minimum 1years' experience) including strategy creation, execution in creative and marketing innovative
  • Experience working with media
  • Your insatiable curiosity, a drive for relentless improvement, a fresh set of ideas, and bold decisionmaking
  • Effectively delivering through others who may not report to you
  • A relevant marketing or business qualification

Salary:
R100, R120,000.00 per month
