Water Manufacturing industry is looking for a
Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and coordinate sales and marketing efforts.

This role requires a combination of business acumen, leadership, and a deep understanding of both sales/marketing and product development processes.
Role and Responsibilities
1.
Developing Sales and Marketing Strategies:
Creating comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
2.
Market Research:
Conducting market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and industry trends to inform decision-making.
3.
Lead Generation:
Overseeing lead generation efforts to identify and attract potential customers to the company's products or services.
4.
Team Management:
Supervising and guiding sales and marketing teams, setting performance goals, and providing training and support.
5.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
Planning and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital marketing, social media, advertising, and events.
6.
Budget Management:
Managing budgets for marketing and sales initiatives and optimizing resources to achieve the best possible outcomes.
7.
Sales Forecasting:
Analysing data and market trends to make accurate sales forecasts and adjusting strategies accordingly.
8.
Customer Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns.
9.
Collaboration:
Working closely with other departments, such as product development, to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
10.
Performance Analysis:
Monitoring the performance of sales and marketing campaigns, analysing results, and making data-driven adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Leading a sales team, setting sales goals, and monitoring their performance.
- Identifying new sales opportunities and market segments.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners.
- Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Marketing Management:
- Creating and executing marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness.
- Conducting market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviour.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Overseeing digital marketing efforts, including social media, content creation, and advertising.
- Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
New Product Development (NPD):
- Identifying market gaps and opportunities for new product development.
- Leading crossfunctional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new products.
- Conducting market research to validate product ideas and features.
- Developing product launch strategies and marketing plans.
- Managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or a related major.
- Experience in Marketing and Sales in the Manufacturing industry (water tanks) will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to lead a team to meet sales quotas.
- The ability to travel internationally with a valid South African passport.
