We have a unique opportunity for an interim Global New Business Intake (NBI) Training and Communications Specialist to support the implementation of a significant transformation program.

This position will report to the Global Head of Operational Efficiency and the NBI Program Director.

The incumbent will help drive the success of a major transformation program by developing and executing a strong communication program and training framework to make Dentons employees and Partners aware of what to expect, prepare them for the changes and then maintain dialogue on the new end state.

This role will work with Dentons' NBI professionals across 16+ countries and 10+ functions.

The incumbent will collaborate with people managers, Global and Regional NBI teams and will support the comprehensive needs of a highly diverse and highly professional global team.

This is a new role created to support an integrated Global Team.

This Program is a truly global program supporting a consistent approach to risk and the Global Business Acceptance Policy.

This is critical to the efficient operation of the global Firm, allowing new business to be set up quickly both within and across regions.

It will also support business insight, giving a forward view of incoming business and a greater insight into sources of business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Head to develop a training framework and communications strategy, objectives, and plan to support effective development and roll out of the NBI program.
  • Develop effective channels of communication and monitor reach of readership across the firm.
  • Support the Global Head with creating insightful, accurate and compelling leadership reports and presentations as needed.
  • Work with Global and Regional NBI teams to enhance the current NBI training program. This may involve collaborating with the Global Director to understand changes to existing processes and system functionality, and then refreshing training materials accordingly.
  • Create a mechanism to monitor the training uptake across the firm, areas where additional support is needed, and report to leadership on the impact of the training.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities

About You

  • 35 years' experience developing and executing communications plans / strategies for large, global projects. Experience in Internal Communications and Training would be an advantage.
  • Educational background in communications, public relations and/or training or similar line of study (essential).
  • Advance business communication skills enabling verbal and written communication as well as visualizations, at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to analyse situations and to arrive at the best possible solution.
  • The ability to conduct presentation at all levels in the Firm with and without presentation aids.
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Experience working in a legal / professional services firm.
  • Flexibility to work in various time zones as needed.
  • A flexible approach to adapt to differing demands, prioritizing tasks where appropriate and ensuring completion of tasks.
  • A strong focus on accuracy, attention to details, consistency, and quality.
  • Ability to build productive relationships in a virtual environment.
  • Selfstarter able to work to achieve objectives with minimum direction.
  • Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
