Overview:


As a Sales Representative specialising in plastic packaging products, you will be a vital member of our sales team, entrusted with the responsibility of generating revenue by promoting and selling our specialized plastic packaging solutions across various industries.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their specific needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

This role requires you to work closely with both existing clients and prospects, utilizing your sales expertise and product knowledge to drive business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute the strategic sales plan to meet and exceed set sales targets within the assigned territory in South Africa.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers while nurturing existing client relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Understand the unique requirements and challenges of clients within industries using plastic packaging products and propose suitable solutions to meet their needs.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our specialized plastic packaging products to prospective clients through presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales tools.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and innovative approaches.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Business to business (B2B) sales, preferably in the plastic packaging or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Resultsdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B related sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the South African industrial market and its packaging needs.
