Job Summary:


In this Recruiter role, you will be the recruiting and talent champion for CDW South Africa and other geographies, as needed.

Acting as a hands-on recruitment partner and advisor, you'll be managing full lifecycle, high volume searches in our Cape Town Shared Services Center and guiding hiring managers to find the best talent for the business.


What you will do:

  • Be the pointperson for CDW in all things Recruitment
  • Build trust and relationships with hiring managers and help meet the talent demands of the business.
  • Proactively communicate on recruitment activity, metrics, successes, and challenges with hiring teams and leaders
  • Assist in development of recruitment strategy, building on market analysis and talent intelligence, educating internal hiring teams, and creating sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing solutions.

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience within a corporate recruiting or agency, ideally in a Shared Services Center or Call Center or other high volume hiring environment
  • Previous experience in recruiting for a growing organization with Employment Equity Plan operation and compliance
  • Experience adhering to processes in an ATS
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, policies and practices related to recruitment in South Africa, with emphasis in helping to creating a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive workforce
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, and management
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritizing multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously including ability to shift priorities and question the status quo
  • Selfstarter, flexible, adaptable, highly organised and proactive

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices in the UK, and/or EMEA, and/or APAC
  • Be a proficient user of Workday Recruitment or JobVite ATS
  • Strong applicant management and sourcing skills, using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Comfortable working with and presenting recruitment data and market data, reporting, and analytics ideally with LinkedIn Talent Insights or similar tool
  • Relationship building and management with hiring managers, other internal teams, and staffing agencies or other external vendors.
  • Excellent at juggling priorities, managing time wisely, being an attentive and responsive business partner, and enhancing the recruitment process
