  • To develop, implement, improve and maintain data quality maturity standards within the Financial Surveillance ( FinSurv )s to support reliable and effective decision making.
  • Detailed Description
  • Conduct an assessment on data quality maturity levels within FinSurv against best practices.
  • Develop standards, guidelines, procedures, and processes for the quality of critical data elements.
  • Develop and promote data quality awareness across the organisation.
  • Define data quality measurement and metrics for the critical data elements to support reliable decision making.
  • Monitor, measure and report data quality levels to create necessary awareness and understanding on reliability of data.
  • Visualise the output of data profiling and discovery to FinSurv data owners.
  • Enable the improvement of data quality levels by means of guiding and training data stewards and users on all aspects of data quality.
  • Analyse, query and facilitate data remediation according to defined business rules, procedures and industry practices.
  • Investigate and establish the root cause for data quality issues and propose initiatives for long term solutions.
  • Collaborate with other data management specialists in defining key artefacts of data quality (e.g., business glossary, data dictionaries, business rules, validation rules, data classification activities etc).
  • Job Requirements
  • A minimum of a Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering OR equivalent;
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in the field of data quality management; and
  • A relevant data quality or DAMA certification ( e.g. CDMP Associate) would be an added advantage.
