The purpose of this position is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within Fidelity CashMaster.

The Data Quality Analyst will also play a key role in data governance initiatives and support the development and implementation of data-related policies and procedures.

To drive the improvement of data quality levels within Fidelity CashMaster to support reliable and effective decision making; this includes but is not limited to:

  • Identifying Data Management solutions to solve business problems, bringing business and information management together, and to develop procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of the organization's data.
  • Focusing on business optimisation and investigating more efficient ways of working and organising resources to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that regular data extraction, profiling, and comparison from different systems in the business is done to inform the data quality level.
  • Driving the establishment of data quality measurement and ongoing monitoring.
  • Performing data analysis, preparing data analysis reports and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define data quality requirements and metrics.
  • Developing and implementing data quality standards and guidelines.
  • Investigating and determining the root cause for data quality errors and making recommendations for longterm solutions.
  • Developing and executing data cleanup measures including remediation oversight of data quality issues.
  • Supporting the stakeholders to implement the necessary structure within their businesses to implement effective data quality management.
  • Providing training and support to users on data quality best practices and tools.
  • Developing data quality monitoring dashboards.
  • Ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly profiling is fully automated in the chosen toolsets.
  • Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data quality.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Equivalent
  • A relevant Data Quality Certification (e.g. CDMP Associate) advantageous
  • Proven experience working with data quality assessment, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies.
