Admin/ Accounts Clerk

- Administration and accounting duties relating to the processing of Customer and Supplier Accounts
- Producing accurate account reconciliations, as required
- Preparing and collating documents for processing from CE into Pastel
- Preparing, processing, and circulating of daily customer invoicing and monthly statements
- Receipt of processed documentation from administration departments for scanning and archiving
- Receiving of intercompany post and external post, stamping of receipt date on all documents
- Collation and distribution of post received to various departments for processing
- Preparation of all documents to be processed into archiving
- Preparation and processing of Supplier/ Creditors documentation
- Maintaining of daily filing and archiving returns and schedules
- Liaising with administration staff and following up on queries relating to archiving and storage
- Monitoring of archive compliance to retention for records policy
- Liaising with administration staff and plant staff, where required
- Assisting the Financial Manager, where required
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- General administration and filing
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Studying towards or obtained a related accounting certificate / diploma / degree
- Minimum Oneyear general administration experience.
