You will be working as Technical Design & Promotion Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Smart Buildings division based in Longmeadow, South Africa.

In this role you will be reporting to Sales/Sector Manager-Trans & Infra and will be responsible for understanding the competitors in the market and their strengths and weakness and their route to market

Your responsibilities

:

  • Must understand the strengths and weakness of ABB product and how to promote the strengths
  • Responsible to engage with specifiers and ensure that ABB is specified
  • Responsible to find out which Channel will be used and ensure we have a close relationship with the Channel
  • Engage with the end user where required to ensure that ABB are preferred
  • Engage closely with the Product Management team at ABB to ensure that the optimal technical solution is presented to the specifier
  • The opportunities must be kept fully updated in the CRM system
  • Business must be done Ethically with integrity and safely and the business processes must be adhered to at all times

Your background

:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical diploma or degree
  • Experience in the electrical control environment in the Buildings / Data Center sector
  • Requires 5 years technical sales experience
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
