Summary:
The Manager, Contract Negotiation primary responsibility is to lead the global Contract Negotiation team.

The Manager will ensure that all contracts have been reviewed and validated and that all contracts are generated and negotiated in a timely manner by following WFS Contract processes.

Commodities include Refined Oil products, Gas, Power, Financial Derivatives, Sustainability/Renewables and Green Certificates as well as ad-hoc agreements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the team activities and priorities.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of several Master agreements such as Fuel Supply Agreements, Master Service Agreements, NDAs, ISDA, NAESB, EFET schedules, credit support annexes and other adhoc agreements to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Proactively improving and developing contract management, templates and other contract processes and promoting efficient workflows.
  • Holder of all templates and executed agreements.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders in Credit, Risk Management, Legal and Commercial.
  • Ensure our team shared outlook mailboxes are maintained, by responding promptly with accurate information to both external and internal customers.
  • Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and management.
  • Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.
  • Ability to creatively analyze business processes and develop solutions that utilize new and existing technologies to improve overall processes and efficiencies, i.e. automation and robotics.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop employees through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of policies and rules, and constructive discipline; builds morale and motivation; enabling high level of retention within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification
  • 5+ years' experience in contracts is preferable
  • Knowledge of contract negotiating and drafting essential
  • International experience is preferable
