Join Our Team as an HR Administrator - Payroll

Our client is looking for a motivated HR Administrator - Payroll to be part of their team on a short-term contract lasting 8 months. If you love a challenge and have sharp attention to detail, this might just be the job for you

Key Responsibilities
  • Update employee information and employment changes
  • Ensure accuracy in salary calculations and deductions
  • Input data into the payroll system
  • Handle adjustments to pay and record errors
  • Address staff queries on salary, benefits, and deductions
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Keep employee files secure and oversee department movements
  • Conduct periodic reviews of personal files and monitor attendance
  • Process all employee payments
  • Create accurate salary reports
  • Correct journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Generate various month-end reports
  • Produce specialized reports for management
  • Conduct leave audits and report to HR Manager
  • Check leave liability reports and prepare UIF claims
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration
  • HR Diploma (NQF 5) qualification
  • Knowledge of payroll systems like Symplexity, SAP, or SAGE
