Basic Mon & THC Plant

Role Summary

  • To assist the production Group Leader with all administration related to production, scheduling and reporting within Basic Mono and THC plant with specific reference to SYSPRO Bookings and job maintenance.

Accountabilities

Position Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all SYSPRO transaction related to production booking and Jobs status is maintained as per required standards.
  • Ensure al production administration and documentation is up to date and maintained for daily reporting.
  • Communicate product status to relevant stakeholders.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of reported data and figures, timeously and in accordance with prevailing standards.
  • Maintain professional and up to date feedback and communication with all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Book production in to SYSPRO for Basic Mon and THC plant
  • Maintain order status by shipping available products against orders.
  • Maintain Jobs form opening to completion within agreed timeframe and standards.
  • Update production schedule and production reports as per agreed standard and requirements.
  • Assist with placing PR's and SCT's for both Basic Mon and THC plants as required.
  • Could be asked to standn for Group Leader, specifically for communication and feedback purposes for short periods of absence.
  • Assist with Raw material and FGS stock takes and capturing of stock at month end.
  • Capture and report all required data reporting at month end associated with Basic Mono & THC production activities.
    Inherent Requirements

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications

Experience

  • 3 years related working experience within manufacturing environment, preferably refractory plants.

Requirements / Skills / Characteristics

  • Computer literacy (i.e., MS Office, Excel Advanced, Microsoft Word Intermediate
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO Purchase Requestion, Job maintenance and Order Status maintenance required.
  • Good administrative skills required.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and spoken
  • Must be handson.
  • Solutionsoriented and selfmotivated individual
  • Strong organizational & prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail essential analytical.
  • Ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be able to work in a pressured environment.
  • Be able to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
