Job Description:


Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for HR and payroll administration? We are seeking a dedicated HR & Payroll Administrator to bring relief for an employee going on maternity leave.

As the HR & Payroll Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR and payroll processes.

Your meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will be critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Monthly Preparation & Issuing Payslips
Assist in Preparing monthly payroll accurately and timely.

Issue payslips to employees ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

  • Contracts
Assist in the preparation and administration of employment contracts for new hires and existing employees.

  • Recruitment
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting interviews when necessary.

  • UIF Registrations Updates & UI19
Handle UIF registrations and updates as required.

Manage UI19 forms and related documentation.

  • Assisting with Tender Compiling
Provide support in compiling tender documents as needed.

  • Qualification Verification Checks
  • Provident Fund Related Issues
Address and resolve any issues related to the provident fund for employees.

  • Overseen Medupi & Kusile Administrators
Provide oversight and support to administrators at Medupi & Kusile sites.

  • Sundry Orders
Manage and process miscellaneous orders as required.

  • Weekly Meetings with Medupi & Kusile Administrators
Conduct weekly meetings with administrators at Medupi & Kusile sites to discuss ongoing tasks and address any concerns.

  • Chairing Daily Logistics Meetings
Lead daily logistics meetings to coordinate operational activities efficiently.

  • Compiling Logistics - Diesel Spreadsheet Daily
Compile and maintain daily diesel spreadsheets for logístical purposes.

  • Approving Daily Diesel Orders on WhatsApp
Review and approve daily diesel orders via WhatsApp communication channels.

  • Medical & Induction Booking
Coordinate medical examinations and induction sessions for new hires.

  • Assisting in Analyzing Monthly Wage Bureau Spreadsheet
Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports based on the monthly wage bureau spreadsheet.

  • Leave Recon for Truck Drivers
Manage leave reconciliation process for truck drivers.

  • Yearly Bonus Calculations
Calculate and administer yearly bonus payments for employees accurately and fairly.

  • Additional Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.

Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR and payroll matters.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to support organisational goals and objectives.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR and payroll administration.

  • Qualifications
Relevant Tertiary qualification

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
