Management

  • Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • National Diploma in Accounting or any Finance related qualification.
  • At least 3 years recent and relevant experience in a similar role within a financial environment
  • Experience of having worked on a financial system.
  • Proven computer literacy in the use of MS Excel, with demonstrated proficiency at an intermediate level.
  • Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
    Financial administration and management:
  • Review, processing and tracking of all financial requests i.e., Procurement/expenditure, invoices, claims, refunds, petty cash, travel and EFT's.
  • Liaise with Creditors and CPUT creditors regarding payment of supplier invoices.
  • Liaise with Debtors regarding accounts payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations concerning financial issues.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting such as Management report, debtors age analysis report, creditors age analysis report, procurement register, revenue list, inventory list, bank reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation for review and signoff by Financial Manager
  • Compile financial information required for any project reporting.

Internal funds transfers administration (Journals):

  • Prepare accurate and timeous journal transactions for review by Financial Manager

Records and data management:

  • Keep all financial records/documentation onsite and filing on the SARETEC Finance Shared driveup to date and in high quality standard to enable retrieval and or access as and when required including audits.

SARETEC Team Financial Support:

  • Provide support to SARETEC throughout all the activities to completion including financial queries, compilation of financial reports where required.
