Role Overview:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key retail accounts through personal interactions, virtual/phone meetings, and exceptional customer care to meet both client needs and company objectives.
  • Spot growth opportunities within current accounts by utilizing upselling, cross-selling, and personalized marketing approaches that showcase the value of our client's offerings.
  • Explore new business prospects by delivering presentations, setting up meetings, and illustrating the unique value proposition to potential clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring prompt delivery of requested products/services.
  • Collect and assess customer feedback via satisfaction surveys, and relay insights to the team for ongoing enhancement of the customer journey.
  • Track and analyze key metrics like revenue and profit for each retail account to meet set objectives.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and contractors to guarantee seamless and consistent service provision to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor initiatives to offer valuable insights and suggestions for maintaining a competitive advantage.

Requirements and Background:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Account Management position, preferably within retail or fintech settings.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Diploma/Degree in BCom, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field).
  • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple accounts concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills.
  • Strong focus on customer service and adept at problem-solving.
  • Proficient in sales, negotiation, and business development tactics.
  • Solid analytical and data-oriented decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
