Over the last two years, this initiative has contributed over R21 million in products to charitable causes, while also boosting marketing budgets by over R155 million.

As a Senior Advertising Account Manager, your primary objective will be to drive revenue generation, aiming for an annual target of R5 million. Additionally, you will oversee the distribution of R35 million in products, with a significant portion allocated to charitable endeavors, ranging from R7 million to R10 million through this initiative. In this role, you will spearhead new business opportunities and nurture key client relationships to meet and exceed these ambitious targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • New business development.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key clients, ensuring their advertising needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
  • Design and implement effective advertising campaigns that align with client goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft creative strategies and concepts.
  • Regularly monitor and report on campaign performance, making adjustments as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for account growth, including upselling additional services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and best practices to stay ahead in the market.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in advertising account management.
  • Extensive knowledge of various advertising platforms, including TV, radio, outdoor, and online.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record in managing large client accounts and achieving significant advertising sales.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related fields is advantageous.

Package & Remuneration

240-420k P/A
