You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the drafting activities, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of draughtspersons, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
  • Assign tasks and projects to team members and ensure timely completion.
  • Review and approve drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to gather information and requirements for drafting projects.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and provide updates to management and clients.
  • Ensure adherence to drafting procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during drafting projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Draughtsperson, preferably with experience leading a team.
  • Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other drafting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting standards and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
