Hire Resolve is partnering with a prominent logistics company located in Gauteng to find a skilled Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager in the logistics industry, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics industry in Gauteng
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years Sales Experience in the 3/4 PL and/or Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Proven track record in Freight Forwarding, Clearing, Contract Logistics and 3/4 PL
  • E2E Supply Chain experience
  • Demonstratable ability to manage and lead a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a valid driver's license
